Release information

Projektron BCS 25.2

The new release of Projektron BCS brings a fresh boost to your daily work: In the CRM module, the new contact history shows you directly on the person which customer relationships are actively managed – visually presented and filterable by duration, category, or region. Passkey login is now also conveniently available in the BCS app without a password. The revised effort chart in “Effort/Day” makes time entries, absences, and holidays visible at a glance. Surveys can now be assigned and visually evaluated with just a few clicks – including a clear overview of the response rate. The new SCIM interface connects BCS with your identity provider and automates user management. And: E-incoming invoices are now also available in BCS.start – for end-to-end digital invoice processing.

Customer service status at a glance – graphical contact history in CRM

In the new release 25.2 of Projektron BCS, the CRM module has been expanded to include a new view that simplifies the overview of customer service. You can now see at a glance which customers, prospects, or contacts a person is responsible for, including a graphical contact history and helpful filters such as support duration or organization category. Sales managers can quickly see whether important customer contacts are being actively maintained or whether action is required (red traffic lights) – for example, in the event of vacation or prolonged absence of a sales employee.

The support history can also be evaluated at the department level, filtered by customer advisor or country, for example. The new feature supports transparent, forward-looking sales management and helps to secure customer relationships in the long term.

These features are not available for BCS.start.

New passkey authentication in the BCS app – log in securely and conveniently!

With BCS 25.2, passkey authentication, which has been implemented in BCS and BCS.start since version 24.2, is now also available in the BCS app. You can now log in securely and conveniently without a password using passkeys if these have already been registered on your smartphone. This method not only ensures greater security, but also makes it easier for you to log in by using biometric features such as FaceID or fingerprint. You can find out more about passkeys in the Projektron blog article “Passkeys: The future of authentication”.

This feature is also available for BCS.start.

New effort chart in the “Efforts/Day” view – More clarity for working hours

The effort chart in the “Effort/Day” view has been completely redesigned in BCS 25.2. It offers improved visualization of actual and target work and absences, as well as dynamic scaling adjustment. Employees and managers can quickly identify anomalies such as overtime or missing bookings.

Assign surveys more easily and evaluate them graphically

Participants can now be added to surveys much more easily – directly from appointment or person lists, without many intermediate steps.

Alternatively, new surveys can be started directly from templates using the people. Particularly helpful: the graphical evaluation has been expanded. Closed questions are now also displayed in ring diagrams, which makes it easier to interpret the results. In addition, a new overview shows how many survey questionnaires have already been completed, are in progress, or are still unanswered—ideal for quick success monitoring.

The feature is available for BCS.start.

Automated user and group management with SCIM interface in BCS

With 25.2, a new, powerful integration is available in BCS: Users and groups can be automatically transferred to BCS directly from your identity provider – e.g., Microsoft Entra ID – via the standardized SCIM interface. Whether existing users or new accounts, management becomes significantly easier and more efficient. This extension is the ideal addition to the existing security architecture, especially for customers who already use OIDC for authentication.

The interface is not available for BCS.start.

"What also impresses us is the release stability and transparency of Projektron BCS itself. We always have the feeling that we are transparently informed about product development - whether via the website, the newsletter or the release events in the fixed quarterly release cycle. One visit to the website and you can see immediately: What is planned for the next release? What has been released recently? What is already available, but maybe I don't use it yet? Because of this transparency and reliability, Projektron's product development deserves great praise."

Ralf Junge

Head of PMO, Sandstein Neue Medien

"We appreciate the flexibility and maximum customizability that BCS offers. In fact, we have also had many specifications made. We always eagerly await new BCS versions, and we usually update very quickly after a new release. Here we see another fantastic advantage of BCS - it is maximally customizable and yet easily update-compatible."

Preview – Projektron BCS 25.3

The agile development model Scrum combined with the appropriate Projektron BCS support makes it possible: Find out here which important innovations are planned for the next version. Please note that there is no guarantee that the announced features will appear in exactly this form and in the next release. Short-term changes cannot be ruled out.

New legally compliant QR invoices for Switzerland

With version 25.3 of Projektron BCS, we are implementing the updated Swiss Implementation Guidelines for QR invoices (version 2.3), which will be binding from November 21, 2025. This innovation will benefit all Projektron BCS customers in Switzerland who use QR invoices. With this implementation, you can ensure that your QR invoices will remain legally and technically compliant even after the deadline – without any manual adjustments. The new regulation integrates seamlessly into your existing e-invoicing processes with BCS, allowing you to continue working efficiently as usual.

Modernized effort chart: Greater clarity and improved comparability

In version 25.3, we are modernizing the “Chart” subview in the effort view of Projektron BCS: The previous graphic is being replaced by a new, interactive bar chart in tree format, which is visually and functionally based on familiar views such as the Gantt chart. The familiar functionality remains unchanged, while usability has been significantly improved. The new display is more clearly structured, offers finer scaling, interactive tooltips, and a comprehensible legend. Efforts and budgets can now be compared more intuitively across all project levels.

AI-generated ticket summary

With the new AI-supported ticket summary in Projektron BCS, you can get a compact overview of the content and processing status of a ticket at the touch of a button – including a description and history. This allows ticket processors to see immediately what has already been done and what is currently pending – without having to read through and scroll through the processing history.

To help you quickly visualize where your customers and contacts are located in Projektron BCS CRM, starting with BCS 25.3, you will be able to access a location map based on OpenStreetMap.The map will not only show the locations of your contacts, but also visualize the sales potential.
