Release information Projektron BCS 25.1
The new features of BCS Release 25.1
Projektron BCS 25.1 brings decisive improvements and enhancements that make everyday work in companies even more efficient. With expanded BPMN integrations, simplified e-invoice workflows, and improved Microsoft 365 connectivity, BCS is now even more flexible and powerful. These new features help you control processes more dynamically and achieve greater automation—ideal for companies looking to optimize their day-to-day project management.
More flexible BPMN process control: Dynamic responses with message and signal events in BCS
The integration of BPMN processes with BCS functions is being further developed to make process flows even more responsive and better coordinated. Message and signal events provide a basis for communication between running processes and BCS data. Events such as status changes can thus be seamlessly integrated into process logic.
This allows processes to be continued with pinpoint accuracy or dynamically adjusted as soon as certain conditions are met – for example, applications are automatically updated or purchasing processes are reactivated when corresponding status messages are received. Users benefit from more flexible, intelligent process control – without manual intervention.
The result: more efficient processes, fewer delays, and increased automation. Even complex scenarios can be implemented more easily, making BCS an even more versatile and powerful central tool in everyday project work.
These functions are not available for BCS.start.
Contact export from BCS to Microsoft Exchange Online
In Projektron BCS 25.1, it is now possible to export contacts to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online). This new feature is particularly useful for customers who want to switch to MS365. The export creates defined BCS contacts in the personal contact folders of the sync users, making it easier to use centrally maintained contacts directly in Outlook.
This feature is also available for BCS.start.
Sum invoice amounts directly in the system and assign incoming e-invoices more easily
In BCS 25.1, totals are now displayed in the invoice view under the columns “Invoiced sales price,” “Gross sales price,” and “Sales tax”—provided that all items are in the same currency. This makes it easier for controllers and accountants in particular to perform quick evaluations and ad hoc analyses directly in the system without having to go through Excel.
When importing incoming e-invoices, BCS now provides better support for missing vendor numbers: The system additionally checks the legal company name and assigns the supplier on this basis – ideal for anyone who regularly processes incoming invoices. Technically, BCS is also ready for XRechnung 3.0.2 and ZUGFeRD 2.3.
The functions for importing and processing incoming e-invoices are also available to customers who do not use the invoicing module.
The invoicing functions are available for BCS.start; information on incoming e-invoices is not available for BCS.start.
Project archiving: greater clarity, improved performance
The concept behind the new project archiving system is to improve data management in BCS. This improves clarity and reduces the amount of data, thereby improving performance at the database level. Projects are archived after a series of checks, including project completion, adherence to deadlines, and set booking deadlines for projects and invoices.
Archiving includes all relevant data, including orders, quotes, expenses, costs, invoices, and files. After archiving, the project is no longer visible in day-to-day business, neither in the project hierarchy nor via full-text search. Only authorized users can view key figures from archived projects in dedicated evaluations.
This function is not available for BCS.start.
