Third award in a row: Projektron honored again at BestPersAward for exemplary personnel work

Projektron GmbH was awarded the BestPers certificate for the third time in the BestPersAward employer competition for professional and sustainable human resources work. Among 28 participating companies, the Berlin software manufacturer took first place in the categories of strategy and vision, generation management and personnel development. In the overall ranking, Projektron achieved second place.

In 2011 and 2013, Projektron was already able to convince the jury with its high-quality human resources work. This year, the software house achieved a place in the top 10 in all categories. Managing Director Maik Dorl explains: "Human resources work is an important component of our company's success. The third award in this competition shows us that we are creating an excellent workplace culture with continuous measures." Human Resources Manager Sandra Gerhardt adds, "We are proud that we particularly excel in categories that are essential for the future viability of human resources management."

Among other things, Projektron GmbH's human resources work is oriented toward the life phases of its employees. Measures are developed in such a way that they can be used by all employees. The success of this strategy can be seen, for example, in the gender balance in parental leave and part-time work. Projektron has already received several awards in various employer competitions, most recently as the most family-friendly company in Berlin in the state-wide "Unternehmen für Familie" competition.

The BestPersAward is one of the first employer competitions in Germany. The study, which is conducted every two years by the Institute for Management Competence (imk) at Saarland University, surveys the quality of HR work in medium-sized companies in nine categories. In addition, all participating companies receive a free brief evaluation that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of their own HR work and helps to optimize HR management. The award ceremony took place on November 17, 2016 in Frankfurt am Main.
