In 1890, the company "Karl-Schiege-Eisenbau" was founded in Leipzig at the company site. Part of the company is also a technical office. Since 2010, planning offices have been established in Slovakia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Poland.
Well-known projects of IMC Planungsgesellschaft mbH are the extension / new construction of the Beiersdorf group headquarters in Hamburg and the project steel construction of the pre-assembly hall, the mobile assembly hall and the launch tower for the orbital launcher Ariane 6 on the site of the Kourou spaceport in French Guiana.
