Projektron honored again with tekom documentation award

The Berlin software manufacturer can be pleased about its third thot. After 2010 and 2012, Projektron has received the Dokupreis of the Fachverband für Technische Kommunikation for the third time this year.

The award ceremony took place on November 10, 2015 at the tekom annual conference in Stuttgart. 19 manuals were submitted. Projektron participated with the manual "User Interface and Navigation Projektron BCS 7.20".

The thot was awarded to seven companies whose manuals received an overall grade of 2.0 or better. Projektron achieved a grade of 1.8. Frank Nädler, head of the documentation department: "The renewed award confirms the comprehensibility and quality of our manuals. We are very pleased about the appreciation of our work!"

tekom has been awarding the Dokupreis since 2005. A 50-strong team of experts evaluates user manuals and operating instructions, online help and software manuals. The evaluation is based on a catalog of criteria that is based on internationally recognized standards such as DIN EN 62079 or VDI 4500 and covers the following areas: Outline and text, illustrations, design, safety instructions, navigation, scope, and documentation - product comparison.

Projektron has already received several awards, both for its web-based project management software and for its human resources work. The work of the Corporate Communications and Documentation department has already been honored twice with the tekom Documentation Award. In addition, Projektron editors received the tekom-intro 2012 student innovation award and made it into the top 10 at the 2012 Berlin-Brandenburg Website Award.
