Four-time award winner: Projektron impresses at all levels in the Great Place to Work® 2026 survey

A major success for Projektron GmbH: The research and consulting institute Great Place To Work® Germany has recognized our company in four different competition categories for 2026. In the industry-specific competition “Best Employers in ICT 2026,” we took first place for the first time. In the regional competition “Best Employers in Berlin-Brandenburg 2026,” we were awarded second place. In the “Best Employers for Women 2026” competition, Projektron was among the winners right from the start, taking 5th place. We also made a strong impression at the national level: In the “Germany’s Best Employers 2026” competition, Projektron took 2nd place in the category for companies with 101 to 250 employees, making it one of Germany’s best employers.

Four awards, an exceptional overall picture

The year 2026 marks a special milestone for Projektron: For the first time, we have succeeded in winning four awards in a single year as part of the Great Place to Work® initiative:

2nd place – “Best Employers in Germany 2026” (company size: 101–250 employees)

1st place – “Best Employers in ICT 2026

2nd place – “Best Employers Berlin-Brandenburg 2026

5th place – “Best Employers for Women 2026

This combination is particularly significant because it brings together different perspectives: industry comparison, regional classification, evaluation in the area of equal opportunity, and the overall national assessment.

An internationally recognized testing method

The Great Place To Work® awards are based on a scientifically sound analytical process for evaluating corporate culture.

The process centers on an anonymous and representative employee survey, supplemented by a management culture audit. The results of the employee survey account for 75 percent of the overall evaluation.

Among other things, the survey examines:

Trust in leadership

Team spirit and collaboration

Fairness and respect in everyday work

Credibility of management

Identification with the company

In the “Best Employers for Women” competition, the analysis also examines how women experience the corporate culture and what measures companies have implemented to promote equal opportunity, diversity, and gender balance.

In Germany alone, 1,141 companies voluntarily underwent this independent analysis.

The fact that Projektron was able to achieve both 1st place in the ICT ranking, 2nd place in the Berlin-Brandenburg competition, and 5th place among the “Best Employers for Women” in this context confirms the high quality of our corporate culture, which we truly live by.

Tenth Participation – Continuous Development

Our participation in 2026 marked our tenth participation in the Great Place to Work® initiative.

During our last participation in the competition in 2023, we ranked 9th in the industry ranking “Best Employers in ICT” as well as 2nd in the Berlin-Brandenburg regional competition. The leap to the top of the ICT ranking shows: Our cultural efforts are long-term and continue to develop consistently.

This development is no coincidence. It is the result of continuous investment in leadership, transparency, employee involvement, and sustainable organizational structures.

1st Place in the ICT Industry

With 1st place in the “Best Employers in ICT 2026” competition, Projektron has achieved the top position in the industry comparison for the first time.

Competition for qualified professionals is particularly intense in the ICT industry. A credible and trustworthy corporate culture is therefore a decisive factor for sustainable success. The award confirms our position as an attractive employer in this environment.

Strong Position in the Berlin-Brandenburg Region

Projektron once again impresses in a regional comparison. By ranking 2nd in the “Best Employers in Berlin-Brandenburg 2026” competition, we remain among the leading employers in the region.

This ranking is particularly significant, as it allows for a direct comparison with companies in the same labor market environment. Our repeated top ranking demonstrates that our corporate culture has proven itself over the long term and continues to evolve.

Focus on Equal Opportunity: A Successful Debut

Another milestone in 2026 was our first-time participation in the “Best Employers for Women” competition. Projektron immediately achieved 5th place. The competition also analyzes how women experience the corporate culture and what measures companies have implemented to promote equal opportunity, diversity, and gender balance. The result shows that our corporate culture is also convincing from this perspective and offers a work environment in which people can thrive and take on responsibility regardless of gender.

National Award: Award Ceremony in Cologne

A highlight of Projektron’s year was the award received in the nationwide competition “Germany’s Best Employers 2026.” Projektron took second place in the category for companies with 101 to 250 employees, making it one of Germany’s best employers. The awards ceremony took place on March 19, 2026 during a gala at the Flora in Cologne. A total of 100 companies were honored.

This national award enables a comprehensive comparison across industries and regions. In 2026, 1,141 companies with a total of 599,652 employees participated in the survey. The results clearly demonstrate the impact of a positive corporate culture. For example, 87 percent of employees at the award-winning companies say they would recommend their employer to others. 91 percent rate their workplace as very good overall. These figures among the award-winning companies are well above the national average:

  • 82% confirm that their mental and emotional health is supported (vs. 43% on average nationwide)
  • 74% feel they are paid fairly (vs. 37%)
  • 82% experience active promotion of work-life balance (vs. 46%)
  • 78% are involved in decision-making (vs. 44%)
  • 85% see genuine interest from managers in them as individuals (vs. 53%)

Projektron’s Path to Success: Putting People First

HR manager Sandra Gerhardt also sees the results as a strong signal:

Sandra Gerhardt, Head of Human Resources at Projektron GmbH

At Projektron, people are at the heart of everything we do—each with their own strengths, perspectives, and quirks. It is precisely this diversity that makes us successful. We are particularly pleased that, in our first year of participating in the “Best Employers for Women” competition, we were immediately recognized as one of the top companies. The survey shows that we create an environment where people can thrive and take on responsibility.

Competition for qualified professionals is particularly fierce in the ICT sector. A credible and trusting corporate culture is therefore a decisive factor for sustainable success.

Corporate Culture as a Strategic Decision

As an owner-managed company, Projektron takes a clear stance: Economic success and a positive work atmosphere are inseparable.

Francisco Josué Gutendorf, Managing Director of Projektron GmbH

Continuous product development and sustainable economic success are the foundation of our future viability. At the same time, what matters most to us is that we enjoy coming to work and take pride in what we do. We know that we invest a great deal in our company culture—and it’s wonderful to receive this validation anonymously and from an external source.

This approach shapes key aspects of our organization, including transparent communication, employee engagement, and long-term perspectives.

People at the Center – A Strong Culture Has an Impact Both Internally and Externally

The awards have both internal and external impact. Internally, they strengthen employees’ trust, motivation, and sense of belonging. Externally, they contribute to our positioning as an attractive employer and provide guidance for job applicants. For Projektron, however, they are above all a barometer of whether the company’s aspirations and lived reality align.

Four awards – and not the end

The four-award success in 2026 represents an important milestone. At the same time, it is not the end. Corporate culture is a continuous process that adapts to new requirements. Topics such as digitalization, changing work models, and rising expectations for leadership and collaboration require constant further development.
