Projektron receives Berlin Brandenburg Quality Award

Projektron GmbH has been awarded the "Berlin-Brandenburg Quality Award" for the third time following a successful appraisal, this year with the rating "Outstanding Excellence" 2023/2024. The appraisal for the quality award was carried out by the Verein für Qualitätsförderung und Beratung e.V. (VQB). The award is presented by the Berlin-Brandenburg Quality Initiative.

The award is granted on the basis of a maturity matrix, the criteria of which correspond to the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 and the EFQM model. ISO 9001 is a standard for quality management systems and defines the requirements for such systems. The EFQM model is a total quality management system that provides a holistic view of organizations.

Since its foundation in 2001, Projektron GmbH has been developing and selling the web-based project management software Projektron BCS. From the very beginning, the Berlin-based company has received various awards for outstanding performance - for its product and its documentation, and especially for its good human resources work.

The product is innovative: Projektron BCS was launched in 2001 and has been continuously developed to this day. In 2022, the software received an award as an ERP system for service providers. It is available in ten languages and is used by SMEs and internationally positioned companies. Over 850 customer companies in various industries with 3 to over 3000 users rely on Projektron BCS.

The company, which has over 100 employees, continuously analyzes its processes, identifies best practices and continues to develop its internal quality standards. Projektron has had an ISO 9001-based quality management system since 2008 and strives to be an excellent company in the sense of the EFQM model. This means that the company's quality management system is effective and efficient and Projektron is constantly working to further improve processes and services. Since January 2018, Projektron has held the ISO 27001 certificate from TÜV SÜD for the areas of development, support and IT administration, which specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continuously improving a documented information security management system.
