The recording of working hours is playing an increasingly important role in all sectors and industries. Especially for field staff who supervise numerous different projects, mobile time recording has become indispensable. With the Projektron BCS-App, for example, working times and breaks can be booked on the road and transferred in encrypted form to the Projektron BCS project management software. With mobile expense tracking, you can record expenses directly during your trip and conveniently transfer them to Projektron BCS later. You can document business trips with multiple travel segments or individual expense receipts in no time at all and easily add photos or PDF documents. You can quickly record meals, mileage, and overnight stays on your smartphone. Even without a business trip, you can create receipts, mark them as billable, and assign them to project tasks, for example. After synchronization with the expense management system in the ERP for service providers Projektron BCS, the system automatically calculates expense allowances and converts receipt amounts into the correct currency.

Entering contacts in Projektron BCS via QR code
You can enter trade fair contacts or interested parties directly via the BCS app. Your recorded trade fair contacts or prospects are initially saved offline and synchronized to BCS when an Internet connection is available. This allows you to collect contact data quickly and without errors, which is an organizational and time advantage, especially for large events such as trade fairs, conferences or lectures.
The collection is possible by manual input or conveniently by scanning QR codes with contact information, such as those found on business cards. BCS intelligently assigns your synchronized contacts to respective organizations. If it is a new contact, it will be made available to you under a collective organization.
Technology
The app synchronises your data via web service to Projektron BCS. It has been developed as a so-called Progressive WebApp and can be started in your browser or via an icon on the start screen in full screen mode.

The data is retained even after exiting the Projektron BCS-App or restarting the mobile device, as it is stored locally on the mobile device.
Stable and fast user interaction is possible regardless of network availability and speed, as the network connection is only necessary for data synchronization.
After an update of the BCS installation, the Projektron BCS-App is automatically updated the next time it is called up with an internet connection.
Security
The Projektron BCS app can only be used if the page is accessed via a secure connection with a valid certificate (HTTPS). When you first start the Projektron BCS app, you will be asked for your username and password. Your administrator can also disable the use of the app via configuration.

The transport security of the Projektron BCS app is guaranteed because it can only be used in conjunction with HTTPS.
Authentication is performed using a username and password, followed by the use of a long-term cookie that is securely stored in memory and removed when you explicitly log out of the app.
When synchronizing from the Projektron BCS app to Projektron BCS, the rights set in BCS are applied.
Projektron BCS is secure software “Made in Germany” and is continuously being developed to meet the high requirements for data protection and IT security. In addition to cloud use, on-premises operation in your own IT infrastructure is also available.
