Since 2014, tesa has been using BCS to plan, manage, and control projects. A particular focus is on managing personnel resources and time tracking. BCS also supports tesa with project planning, project control, project communication, and leave management.
BCS is used for service, development, and IT projects, among others. For project control, data is exchanged between BCS and SAP: time entries can be transferred from BCS, while project-related costs from SAP are imported into BCS. By comparing the data, discrepancies between recorded and actual costs can be identified and examined in more detail when necessary.
