synedra information technologies GmbH
synedra develops software solutions for managing medical data and helps healthcare organizations make information securely, structurally, and consistently available across systems. Profile
synedra information technologies was founded in Innsbruck in 2005 and specializes in Health Content Management (HCM). The company develops solutions that enable medical data to be captured, stored, visualized, distributed, and archived over the long term.
At the heart of its portfolio is the synedra AIM Health Content Management platform. It brings together medical information in a wide range of formats on one integrated platform and helps healthcare organizations overcome existing data silos. This extends beyond conventional medical imaging data and includes the cross-system provision of many different types of clinical information.
synedra’s customers include university hospitals, hospital groups, and other healthcare organizations. With locations in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, the company is particularly active in the DACH region and supports more than 260 hospitals.
Interoperability between different healthcare systems plays a particularly important role. Existing clinical applications and data sources are not considered in isolation but are connected via standardized interfaces. Together with the solutions from akedis Innovations, synedra’s portfolio also includes applications for structured medical documentation.
Since 1 October 2025, synedra has been part of T-Systems International and Deutsche Telekom Healthcare Solutions. synedra continues to operate as an independent company and brand in the field of Health Content Management. As part of Deutsche Telekom, the company combines its specialization in medical data management with a broader portfolio for the digital transformation of hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
