BCS from Projektron receives the “Software Hosted in Germany 2026” award
Our business coordination software BCS has been awarded the “Software Hosted in Germany 2026” seal of approval. Awarded by the German Federal Association of IT SMEs (BITMi), the certification confirms that BCS is hosted entirely in Germany and meets the highest standards of data security, service quality, and future viability—values that we consistently uphold at Projektron.

The Software Hosted in Germany and Software Hosted in Europe seals of approval were developed by the German Federal Association of IT SMEs specifically for software manufacturers who offer online solutions.

Clear criteria – proven hosting quality
Not every software product is allowed to bear the Software Hosted in Germany seal. The seal is awarded on a product-specific basis and is reviewed annually by BITMi.
The following criteria, among others, must be met in order to receive the award:
The software and data are hosted in a data center in Germany
The software and personal data do not leave Germany, unless expressly requested by the client
The use of services that forward non-personal data abroad is disclosed transparently
The hosting contract is governed exclusively by German law, in particular German data protection law, the BGB (German Civil Code), and the HGB (German Commercial Code)
Proof of current technical and organizational measures for data protection in accordance with § 64 BDSG and Art. 32 GDPR, filed with BITMi e. V.
These criteria ensure that award-winning software solutions are not only functionally convincing, but also meet the highest requirements for data protection, security, and legal certainty.
