The Climate Mobility Challenge and the bahn.business 360° Summit

Projektron received its Climate Mobility Challenge 2024 award at the bahn.business 360° Summit, an industry gathering where leading companies presented sustainable mobility best practices. Held at Smartvillage in Munich, the event combined the awards ceremony with presentations, discussions, and networking opportunities. Meteorologist and ARD host Thomas Ranft opened the day with a keynote highlighting the urgency of climate change and the responsibility of businesses.

Alongside companies such as WeiberWirtschaft eG, Drees & Sommer, and Capgemini, Projektron was recognized for its mobility strategy. We are pleased to receive this award and see it as an incentive to further develop our mobility options.

Forward-Looking Mobility at Projektron

The Climate Mobility Challenge 2024 once again demonstrated that commitment and a willingness to change can help shape the future of mobility. Projektron continues to develop its mobility options in collaboration with employees. The award recognizes the combination of existing options for commuting and business travel.

Statement from Lucas Artaza, Environmental Officer at Projektron GmbH

Receiving the Climate Mobility Challenge 2024 award is a great honor for us. It recognizes our work on a mobility strategy that gives our employees a range of options for commuting and business travel. Through bicycle leasing, bicycle services, and public transit subsidies, we support cycling and rail travel.

We favor rail travel for business trips. We also consider environmental and resource-related issues in other business decisions. We purchase renewable electricity for our Berlin headquarters. By using digital workflows, we aim to reduce the need for printed documents. When making purchasing decisions, we consider factors including transportation distances and criteria for selecting materials and suppliers.

Our mobility options are part of a broader approach to running our business that we continue to develop step by step. We incorporate our employees’ experiences and suggestions, assessing which measures work well in practice and where we can improve. The award motivates us to expand our existing options and test new ideas for corporate mobility.

For us, responsibility is reflected in concrete decisions and how we put them into practice every day. We are proud of what our team has achieved together and are committed to continuing on this path.
