PRINCE2 Foundation in Portugal: Building Expertise for Our Work with BCS

From September 29 to October 1, 2026, ten of our colleagues focused on learning together on Portugal’s Atlantic coast. With trainer André Türpe, they explored the PRINCE2 project management method in depth and prepared for the certification exam that followed. Their efforts paid off: All ten participants passed.

This training directly supports our daily work: BCS supports project management based on PRINCE2. A sound understanding of the method is therefore essential for our employees. Understanding its underlying roles, processes, and principles helps them recognize how our customers organize their projects and what requirements this creates for the software.

Investing in our employees’ professional development also means investing in the quality of BCS and the support we provide to our customers. Knowledge of project management methods helps us interpret customer requirements, recognize connections, and develop and explain suitable solutions. It provides a shared foundation for discussing project management, both within our teams and with users.

The course in Peniche offered a special setting: three days away from everyday office routines to focus on learning and deepen knowledge together. The ten successful certifications demonstrate what our colleagues achieved. The value of that knowledge comes through in their daily work on and with BCS.
