Projektron Family Gathering 2026: A Day to Enjoy Together

On September 3, 2026, things got particularly sociable at Projektron once again: As part of our ninth barbecue of the year, this time it was not only our employees who were invited. At our family gathering, friends, partners and family members also had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes and get to know Projektron up close.

Welcome to Projektron

The event began with a warm welcome for our guests at our Berlin office. A short presentation provided an introduction to Projektron, our work and the company. After all, family and friends often know Projektron primarily from stories about the workplace, projects, colleagues or shared events. The family gathering gave them the opportunity to see for themselves.

This was followed by a tour of Projektron’s Berlin office. The various departments and work areas were introduced along the way. Our guests learned who works on what at Projektron, how the teams collaborate and where the people they usually only see after work spend their working day.

From the Office Tour to the Rooftop Terrace

After the tour, the focus shifted from getting to know the company to simply enjoying the afternoon. Our rooftop terraces offered specialties from the grill, a variety of salads, baked goods and plenty of other treats. Good food and a relaxed atmosphere provided lots of time for conversations, both with familiar colleagues and with family members and friends meeting one another for the first time. It was precisely this mix that made the family gathering so special: For a few hours, our circle of colleagues became a much larger Projektron community.

Our rooftop terraces provide the perfect setting for this during the summer months. High above the rooftops of Berlin, it is easy to leave the working day behind, and a shared lunch or after-work meal often turns into a much longer conversation.

Barbecues Are Part of Summer at Projektron

By early September, firing up the grill was certainly no longer an exception. The family gathering took place as part of our ninth barbecue of the year. Our regular barbecue afternoons and evenings have become a firm part of the warmer months. They are an opportunity for our employees to spend time together away from meetings, tickets and projects. After all, good teamwork is not built at a desk alone.

Barbecues give colleagues from different departments the chance to meet in a different setting. People strike up conversations who may rarely work together directly during their day-to-day routines. New employees can get to know their colleagues in an informal atmosphere, while long-standing employees meet familiar faces beyond the usual meetings and team boundaries. And it does not take an elaborate program: A grill, a set table and some space on the terrace are often all that is needed to bring colleagues together, whether to continue discussing work-related topics or to leave them in the background for a while.

Corporate Culture Thrives on Shared Experiences

For us, events like these are therefore more than just a pleasant addition to everyday working life. They are part of a corporate culture in which personal interaction has an important place. Especially in a company with many different areas of expertise, it is valuable to connect beyond the boundaries of one’s own department. Shared events create opportunities to talk, exchange ideas and get to know the people behind roles, tasks and projects.

This is even more true of a family gathering. When partners, children, parents or friends join us, it adds another perspective. The workplace becomes more tangible, and colleagues can finally put faces to the people they may already have heard so much about. At the same time, our employees can show their family and friends where they work, who they spend their working day with and what makes Projektron the company it is.

A Special Barbecue Afternoon, and Summer Is Not Over Yet

The family gathering on September 3 brought together many of the things that make our barbecues special: sharing food, conversations, new encounters and spending time together outside the usual working environment. With friends and family joining us, our ninth barbecue of the year turned into an especially large Projektron gathering.

And barbecue season is not over just yet: Our tenth barbecue of the summer will definitely still be taking place.
