EWE TEL GmbH has been successfully using Projektron BCS since 2022 for time tracking, employee management, and financial controlling. The switch from Excel to system-supported time tracking and the new evaluation options in accounting have led to noticeable improvements. Future applications are already being explored, such as introducing it in another department.

EWE TEL GmbH is a telecommunications service provider based in Oldenburg and a wholly owned subsidiary of EWE AG. Since its foundation on September 17, 1996, the company has developed into a major provider of telecommunications and IT services in northern Germany. EWE TEL offers around 700,000 customers in Lower Saxony, Bremen, and parts of Brandenburg and North Rhine-Westphalia everything from a single source: high-speed internet, mobile communications, landline telephony, TV, and business solutions. For business customers, EWE TEL provides customized solutions such as dedicated lines, security solutions, server housing, and data center services.

EWE TEL operates an extensive telecommunications network with over 10,000 kilometers of copper cable and almost 40,000 kilometers of fiber optic cable. The company was one of the first providers in Germany to introduce the Next Generation Network (NGN), which enables connections based exclusively on Internet connections. EWE TEL operates under different brands in various regions, such as osnatel in the Osnabrück region and swb in Bremen and Bremerhaven.
