atecplan Ingenieurbüro GmbH is an engineering and planning firm founded in 2003 and headquartered in Delmenhorst. With 69 employees—including engineers, architects, technicians, and design engineers—atecplan offers services in building services engineering (BSE), CAD services, and 3D as-built surveys via laser scanning. Originally starting in the field of supply and disposal technology, the range of services has been continuously expanded, including through new departments since the opening of the Berlin office in 2016.
The company’s services are aimed at industrial and commercial clients as well as building owners with complex projects. With ten locations in Berlin, Bremen, Delmenhorst, Düsseldorf, Düsseldorf Airport, Osnabrück, Velten, Wolfsburg, Wuppertal, and Vienna, atecplan pursues a decentralized, client-focused strategy. The goal is to lead projects to success in an interdisciplinary, efficient, and holistic manner.

When we first encountered BCS at a trade show, a colleague remarked: “We have a list for this, a list for that, and yet another tool for the other thing.” With the introduction of BCS, that has fundamentally changed. Functions such as time tracking, project execution, resource management, and project controlling are now centrally bundled into one system. As a result, all relevant data is accessible, editable, and, above all, consistently available in one place. This noticeably saves time in day-to-day work and reduces errors that could previously arise from transferring information between different lists and tools.
