BCS.start becomes BCS.light
BCS.start is now called BCS.light. Nothing will change for existing customers. The edition is simply being given a new name and clearer positioning. BCS.light is now also available to larger teams looking for a lean and efficient project management solution.
Why we are renaming BCS.start
By renaming BCS.start to BCS.light, we are sharpening the positioning of our entry-level edition. Many customers associated the term “Start” with a pure entry-level solution. In fact, however, it is a full-fledged, professional project management and ERP software that is particularly suitable for smaller project-driven companies, agencies, and compact teams.
The new name BCS.light eliminates this misunderstanding and emphasizes the core of the edition:
less complexity with full benefits
easy usability
attractive price level
What will change for existing BCS.start customers?
Nothing! For current users, everything will remain as usual:
Contracts and prices will remain unchanged
The range of functions will remain unchanged
All processes, workflows, and interfaces remain the same
Only the name is changed to BCS.light.

BCS.light is now no longer only available to teams with up to 15 employees, but can be used by project teams of any size whose project landscape is less complex or less deep.
