Profile
The Clinical Trial Centre (CTC) North is a facility of MediGate GmbH, a subsidiary of the Hamburg-Eppendorf University Hospital (UKE). CTC North is primarily responsible for execution and organisational support of clinical studies. To this end, CTC North operates a modern study station for phase I/II studies, where it carries out top-level studies on behalf of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology companies. It also provides consulting services from clinical investigators and scientists at UKE. CTC North makes it easier for employees from the clinical departments at UKE and interested clinical investigators from outside to meet the high standards for the documentation and quality assurance of their studies required by the German Medicinal Products Act.

Our goal was to find a software product to form the IT backbone of the backbone. A software product that lets us keep track of all our commercial projects, optimises the use of our valuable resources, provides a sturdy costing framework, streamlines processes in human resources and supports quality management. It would also be nice to forego an extra CRM program.And last but not least, the software should help us with conventional project management. Projektron BCS combines these functions with a convincing price/performance ratio, tremendous flexibility and – as we discovered later – outstanding support.
